The Brother's Grimm traveled throughout Europe collecting fairy tales told by people of the area. This book has 55 of them including well known stories, lesser known stories and forgotten tales. The tales include Little Red Riding Hood, King of the Golden Mountain, Brave Little Tailor, Hansel and Gretel, Faithful John, Robber Bridegroom, Blue Light, Wolf and Seven Kids and the Twelve Brothers. The book is illustrated with over 2 dozen black and white illustrations and 8 color illustrations. Size: 6.25 x 9.

Illustrated in both color and black and white. Tan pictorial hardcover with brown spine, heavily worn slipcase with color illustration mounted on the front. The book is externally fair to good with some finger soil to the covers and some light edge rubbing, internally very good with good hinges, sound text block, clean pages, name written at top of front free endpaper, no other markings. The slipcase has heavy shelf rubbing, especially to the extremities, structurally sound. Hard Cover. Fair/Fair Slipcase. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
