Sergeant Jack Crossman's second adventure finds him still in the heat of battle in the Crimea. In the confusion of the conflict Jack witnesses the carnage during the hopeless and tragic charge of the Light Brigade when more than six hundred British cavalry troops charged Russian gun emplacements, mistakenly following orders that, as they were passed down the chain of command, had been misinterpreted. Biographie de l'auteur :
Garry Douglas Kilworth was raised in South Yemen, the son of an RAF sergeant. He would later serve for 15 years in the RAF himself. Having spent some time in Hong Kong, where he wrote for the South China Morning Post, he now divides his time between homes in Suffolk and in Spain.
