Charlie Fletcher has worked in film editing for the BBC on everything from Drama to Current Affairs. He`s written screenplays for Tri-Star, MGM, Paramount and Warner Bros, among others. He continues to write for the movies, and also television. He still thinks that being a film editor is a pretty damn fine way to learn about story-telling in general, and narrative structure and pacing in particular. Charlie also moved into other types of writing including magazine features, a computer game and as both a national Sunday newspaper columnist and restaurant reviewer.

He has recently sold the film rights of Stoneheart to Paramount.

A dark force has woken in the British Museum and stopped time, freezing London and its inhabitants. Will and Jo are the only humans unaffected by the spell, and have been fighting alongside London's statues to locate the source of the disruption. But now their statue allies have been frozen too, leaving brother and sister alone and pursued by murderous dragons. What is more, they have noticed that the unmoving people of London are getting colder by the hour ...
