As a graphic designer, Marty Safir specializes in digital art and book design and enjoys collaborating with Marjorie Sarnat on numerous creative projects. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Marty is an alumna of UCLA. Marjorie is a best-selling author and illustrator of several coloring books and over a dozen books on art and creativity. She also is an award-winning mixed-media artist whose works are in collections worldwide. Born and raised in Chicago, Marjorie is an alumna of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and earned a BFA degree from Eastern Michigan University. In 2011 Marty and Marjorie co-founded Jr Imagination, a publisher that promotes creativity in children and adults through books, games, and apps. They live together in Southern California with their daughter, son, two funny dogs, and an extensive antique book and ephemera collection.

Designs are printed on one side only on 60# medium-weight paper. Markers will bleed through the page so a sheet of card stock is recommended to slip under the page you are working on. Non-alcohol based markers and colored pencils work best. The pages are not perforated but easily removed with a razor knife.
